Beautiful campground! This was our view from the site we stayed at! There were about 10 sites total, they were larger and most usual camp sites, and each have a fire pit and picnic table. Bathrooms were just toilets, no sinks, no electric hook ups, and only water is a hand pump. However, we were gone almost all day so this site was Perfect! Once of the closest campgrounds to Munising, and a Beautiful site to wake up to
Very nice campground, very secluded, very quiet. This campground is a hidden gem. However all the sites are walk up only, that is they cannot be reserved so get there earlier. The misquotes were bad during August when we went so be prepared. This campground is down a long dirt road which is basically cut into the Michigan forest. There is only pit toilets and pump water so be prepared. The road to the campground was rather long and had some ruts so if you have a low riding car be careful.
We had campsite #12 which was nice but the sites that were on the lake would have been better. There are motors allowed on the lake so just be aware of that.
For $22 per night, down a long dirt road, but on the lake. The campground has 2 loops and both loops have pit toilets, there is a boat ramp to the lake. It's wonderfully quiet however it is also mosquito infested so bring your Thermacell, Off, Skin so Soft, etc...
